1. Who We Are

Boltr Bulk Price Editor is a Shopify embedded app operated by Pryxo Tech Pvt. Ltd. . The app helps merchants bulk edit product pricing, schedule sales, apply or roll back price changes, generate product pricing reports, and review pricing activity for their Shopify store.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to install, operate, secure, and support the app. Depending on how a merchant uses the app, this may include the following categories.

Shop and account data Shop domain, store name, owner or contact email, country, city, currency, primary domain, Shopify plan, install and uninstall timestamps. Authenticate the store, manage the installation, provide support, and maintain app records. 
Shopify access data OAuth session records, granted scopes, access tokens, and session metadata required by Shopify authentication. Connect securely to Shopify and perform merchant-authorized actions. 
Product and pricing data Product IDs, variant IDs, product titles, handles, SKUs, prices, compare-at prices, costs, inventory item data, markets, and currency codes. Apply bulk price changes, scheduled sales, market pricing, reports, and rollback/reapply workflows. 
Task, sale, and audit data Task settings, sale schedules, selected products or collections, filters, excluded resources, execution summaries, previous and new prices, action status, skip reasons, and timestamps. Run, verify, roll back, reapply, and troubleshoot merchant-requested price changes. 
Support and lifecycle email data Merchant contact email and installation or uninstallation notification details. Send operational emails and respond to merchant support requests. 

3. Shopify API Scopes

The app requests Shopify permissions that support its pricing, inventory, reporting, market, order, customer, and theme-related functions. The configured scopes include read_products, write_products, read_inventory, write_inventory, read_themes, write_themes, read_orders, write_orders, read_customers, write_customers, read_markets, and write_markets.

The app uses these scopes only as needed to provide app functionality, maintain compatibility with Shopify workflows, and respond to merchant actions inside the app.

4. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate the merchant’s Shopify store and maintain a secure app session.
  • Create, schedule, apply, reapply, cancel, or roll back bulk pricing tasks and sales.
  • Read and update Shopify product, variant, inventory, market, and pricing information according to merchant instructions.
  • Generate margin and discount reports for the merchant’s store.
  • Maintain audit logs so merchants can review what changed and diagnose skipped or failed updates.
  • Send app lifecycle and support-related messages.
  • Monitor app performance, protect the app from misuse, and comply with Shopify platform requirements.

5. Customer Personal Data

The current app data model is primarily shop-, product-, task-, sale-, and report-focused. It does not define custom customer-owned database tables. If Shopify sends a customer data request or customer redaction webhook, the app acknowledges and processes the request through its privacy webhook workflow. If future features store customer-linked records, those records should be exported, deleted, or anonymized according to the applicable request.

6. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell merchant or customer personal information. Data may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, database, email delivery, error logging, and Shopify platform services. These providers are used only to deliver, secure, and support the app.

7. Data Retention

We keep app records for as long as needed to provide the app, support merchant workflows, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. When a shop redaction request is received through Shopify’s privacy webhooks, the app deletes current shop-scoped app records including product report cache, audit logs, tasks, sales, settings, sessions, and shop metadata.

8. Merchant Controls

  • Merchants may uninstall the app from Shopify admin at any time.
  • Merchants may request access, correction, deletion, or support for their app data by contacting the support address listed above.
  • Merchants can use Shopify’s standard privacy request flows for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect app data. Shopify authentication is used to verify store access, and app actions are limited to the permissions granted by the merchant through Shopify.

10. International Transfers

Depending on the merchant’s location and the service providers used to operate the app, data may be processed in countries other than the merchant’s country. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for these transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date at the top of this document indicates when this version applies.
