This Privacy Policy explains how Pryxo Tech PVT LTD collects, uses, stores, and protects information when merchants install or use Nex AI SEO Product Description, a Shopify app for AI-assisted SEO content generation and AI visibility workflows.

For privacy questions, contact support@m2webdesigning.com. This policy is intended for merchants who install the app and for store staff who use the app inside Shopify Admin.

  • Credit balances, total credits used, input token counts, output token counts, generation timing, and AI provider/model usage metadata.

Customer personal data

  • The app does not request Shopify customer or order scopes and is designed not to store customer personal data. If a merchant includes personal data inside product descriptions, page content, blog content, prompts, templates, or generated copy, that information may be processed as part of merchant-provided store content.

3. How We Use Information

  • To authenticate the merchant and operate the app inside Shopify Admin.
  • To read store content selected by the merchant and generate product, collection, page, blog, FAQ, schema, llms.txt, and agents.md content.
  • To save merchant-approved generated content back to Shopify.
  • To manage app settings, prompt templates, bulk jobs, AI visibility records, and analytics shown in the app.
  • To process Shopify app billing, subscriptions, credit renewals, and one-time credit purchases.
  • To send install/uninstall or operational emails where configured.
  • To troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, maintain security, and support merchants.

4. AI Providers And Service Providers

The app may send selected store content, merchant prompts, generated content settings, and related context to configured AI providers in order to generate content. Supported provider configuration in the codebase includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Cohere, and Ollama where route support exists.

The app may also use Shopify APIs, database hosting, application hosting, email delivery providers, logging tools, and other infrastructure providers to operate the service. These providers process data only as needed to deliver app functionality.

5. Shopify Permissions

The app requests the following Shopify scopes: read_productswrite_productsread_contentwrite_contentwrite_filesread_filesread_themeswrite_themesread_online_store_navigation, and write_online_store_navigation.

These scopes are used to read and update merchant-approved store content, manage generated files, add supported theme content, and create or maintain storefront redirects used by AI visibility features.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell merchant data. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, with Shopify as required by the platform, with AI providers selected or configured for generation, or when required by law.

7. Data Retention And Deletion

The app keeps shop-level records while the app is installed and as needed for billing, audit, troubleshooting, and service operation. On uninstall, the app deletes active sessions, clears the stored Shopify access token, and marks the shop as uninstalled.

When Shopify sends the shop/redact privacy webhook, the app permanently deletes shop-level records, including generated content logs, generatedproduct/collection/page/blog content, bulk jobs, AI visibility records, billing records, credit purchases, sessions, and the shop record.

The app’s customer data request and customer redaction webhooks return successfully without customer records because the app is designed not to store customer personal data.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect app data. Access tokens, AI provider keys, generated content, and billing records should be treated as confidentialNo internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to data to authorized operational needs.

9. Merchant Responsibilities

  • Review generated content before publishing it to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, brand fit, and truthfulness.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal data, payment information, health information, or other regulated data in prompts, templates, descriptions, pages, blogs, or generated-content settings unless you have the right to process it.
  • Maintain your own storefront privacy policy and disclosures for content you publish and for any third-party services you configure.
  • Secure any AI provider API keys or credentials you add to the app.

10. International Transfers

Depending on the merchant’s location, Shopify, hosting providers, AI providers, and other service providers may process data in countries other than the merchant’s country. Where required, merchants should confirm that their provider configuration and disclosures satisfy their legal obligations.

11. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version should show a new last-updated date. Continued use of the app after an update means the merchant accepts the updated policy, subject to applicable law and Shopify platform requirements.
